Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using various services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided through the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) operated by the Chizu Forestry Landscape Preservation and Utilization Promotion Council (hereinafter referred to as the “Council”). By using the Site, users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) are deemed to have agreed to the Terms.
Article 2 (Scope of Application)
1. The Terms apply to all actions undertaken by Users in connection with the use of the Site.
2. Any additional terms, conditions, or guidelines separately specified by the Council on the Site or through other means shall be deemed part of the Terms.
Article 3 (Revisions to the Terms)
1. The Council may revise the Terms without prior consent of Users when deemed necessary.
2. In the event of a revision, the Council will post the revised Terms on the Site, and Users who continue to use the Services after such posting shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
Article 4 (Service Content)
1. The Services primarily provide information about experiential tours in Japan for international visitors and related content.
2. The reservation system provided by JTB BOKUN is used for making reservations, and certain personal information may be required.
3. The Site uses GA4 for access analysis to improve and understand user behavior.
Article 5 (Reservations and Applications)
1. When making reservations (e.g., tours), Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
2. If the Council or the reservation system provider (JTB BOKUN) stipulates payment methods or other requirements, Users shall comply with them.
3. Details, fees, or cancellation policies of tours and services may be changed without prior notice.
Article 6 (Prohibitions)
Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Site:
1. Any act that violates laws or public order and morals
2. Any act that infringes the rights or interests of the Council or third parties
3. Providing false or misleading information
4. Any act that disrupts the operation of the Site
5. Any act that causes disadvantage or damage to the Council or third parties
6. Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Council
Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)
1. The intellectual property rights related to texts, images, trademarks, logos, programs, etc. on the Site and within the Services belong to the Council or any third party with legitimate rights.
2. Users shall not reproduce, modify, sell, publish, or otherwise use such information without prior consent from the Council or the respective right holders.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
1. The Council makes no warranties as to the accuracy, usefulness, safety, or timeliness of the Site or the Services.
2. The Council shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users due to use or inability to use the Site, except in cases of willful or gross negligence on the part of the Council.
3. Contracts for tours, accommodation, transport, etc. are concluded directly between Users and each service provider (travel agency, accommodation facility, transportation company, etc.). The Council assumes no responsibility regarding these transactions.
Article 9 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Council will handle Users’ personal information appropriately in accordance with its “Privacy Policy.”
Article 10 (Modification, Suspension, and Termination of the Services)
1. The Council may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Services without prior notice to Users.
2. The Council shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users due to modification, suspension, or termination of the Services.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1. The Terms and the use of the Services shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
2. Any dispute arising from or related to the Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tottori District Court in the first instance.
